Kitzbühel-based resort and spa nears completion. The Grand Tirolia Golf & Ski Resort is on schedule to open in June 2009 near the town of Kitzbühel, Austria. Facilities will include a 16,145sq ft (1,500sq m) Aveda spa called the Green Spa, as well as linked indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an ice fountain, Kneipp footbaths, treatment rooms and relaxation areas. The resort and spa are being constructed in the middle of the 18-hole Eichenheim golf course, with a backdrop of the Kitzbühel Alps, Wild Kaiser and Upper Tauern.
