The Aveda spa offers good sauna facilities and an outdoor pool which remains heated throughout the winter. The onsite winery and vinothek attracts visitors from far and wide and the hotel diningroom specializes in wine by the glass so a variety can be sampled throught dinner.

Highlights
Loisium Winery: This has to be the most impressive winery in Austria. Only a few yards through the vinyard from the hotel lies the Steven Holl designed visitor centre. Here one is taken through the wine making process and then through a guided tour of the underground cellars which lie beneath the village. Steeped in history and full of stories and information this "Disney" style tour is extremely entertaining - not to mention the wine tasting and oportunites to purchase!
Aveda Spa: With specifically designed grape based treatments this spa offers the guest a new experience. Sunbathing and swimming amongst vines is refreshingly rural.
Golf: The Langenfeld Golf Club only 10 minutes away offers 36 holes with great views while the rather smarter Ottenstein Golf Club is only 25 minutes away by car.
Cycling: Bikes are available at the hotel and this is an attractive and gently undulating area to enjoy good views and visits to other local wineries.
